RG1 and RG2: The Radiant Glass Chair
Heating air is inefficient: Radiant heat warms your body! The WORLD's first line of HEATED glass furniture is being developed with the Dlubak Corporation. This radiant heating system uses less energy than a light bulb and can greatly reduce home energy costs. We're going back and forth right now in the office regarding whether to move forward with the glass/steel version or with the the all glass version. What do you think? Send us a note.
T1: The Tensegrity Table
The structural members of this unlikely, super-lightweight base are loaded in either pure compression or pure tension. The concept was invented by sculptor, Kenneth Snelson, and popularized by Buckminster Fuller in the early 1960's. The chairs are by Hans Wegner. Completed March, 2010, this custom prototype was skillfully handcrafted for FISHER ARCHitecture by builder/designer, Marc Delissio
