In early 2009, Heidi decided to move her popular downtown Optics business to a new, more visible, first floor, Fourth Avenue location. Our decision to open the existing one story structure to the second floor allowed light to flood indoors, radically improving the interior experience.

The FISHER ARCHitecture team carefully studied the way the “building within a building” would be seen from the sidewalk. The office spaces and exam rooms are carefully configured. And we experimented with different massing, colors, and materials before settling on the final scheme.
